Having successfully produced the FPL Canadian Electronic Trading Conference over the past four years, Stratix Consulting will not host an electronic trading conference in 2010. Instead, Stratix will more closely align its 2010 marketing program with its target client base across the Financial Services industry focusing on its IT Consulting Services and Professional Services offerings. The company remains committed to the FIX Protocol as both a provider of FIX Advisory Services, and as an electronic trading thought leader.
Stratix thanks Bob Smythe for his leadership over the past five years in bringing together diverse stakeholders in the Canadian investment community as conference participants. Launched in 2004 by Bob as a one-day event at the Toronto Board of Trade, Stratix acquired the conference in 2005 and brought Bob on board as VP, Research & Market Development. By 2009, the conference had become the premiere forum for Electronic Trading in Canada with a two-day event at the Toronto Hilton.
Stratix would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of the industry participants who have contributed to the success of the conference over the past five years.
